Between February 21 and 23, 2019, an event where light will be the protagonist will be held in our city. This lighting festival will turn Vitoria-Gasteiz into "the city of light" during these three days. Large-format light sculptures and projections on buildings and public spaces will be the basis of this proposal. This festival has wanted to involve the cultural fabric to participate in this project, and the School of Arts and Crafts has been invited to participate in it.
What we propose is that you take your cell phone or camera and take pictures of fragments of the School so that on that central balcony those images are projected showing the city our vision of it.
We need these images to capture the little things that make the school great. We are not looking for general shots, but small frames in landscape format. Close-ups, a gesture, a texture, a footprint... a tool or part of it, a hand, an eye ....
Surely you will find a thousand things to portray and explain your vision of what the school is and what is "cooking inside it". It is possible that we will edit these images in order to integrate them into the chromatic approach of the installation.
